Your movement routine doesn't have to be complicated to be effective. I don't believe there is a one size fits all approach you "should" be using. Instead, I will help you explore different training styles, equipment, and techniques to create your own unique routine. I will definitely push you to get stronger and encourage you to take on new challenges, so you can delight yourself when you succeed.
I've been a movement coach and massage therapist for over 10 years. Before that I was an accountant, who didn't know how to sit still for 10 minutes, let alone work at a computer all day long. I knew that moving more made me feel better and spreadsheets were sucking the life out of me, but I was trying to fit the mold! Until I couldn't take it anymore...
I went back to college to take prerequisites for physical therapy school. In the meantime, I got my personal training and massage certifications, so I could start getting experience. Long story short, I loved getting to help the same people improve their strength & health for weeks, months (and now years!) and did NOT love being back in an office for my physical therapy internship.
So here we are today - I'm ready to help you re-think fitness and find ways to move that fit your schedule and make you feel energized and empowered. Ready to give it a shot?
